Biography

Mason Maxey graduated from the University of Washington in 2016. During his time at the University of Washington, he was involved in various activities and clubs, especially through the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. It is during his time at the University of Washington that Mason decided to become an attorney; after realizing his oral advocacy and penchant for civil debate might be better suited as an attorney than STEM-related fields. Following this decision, Mason, like the other Maxeys attended Gonzaga University School of Law beginning in 2017. Throughout his time at Gonzaga University Mason spent time as an intern at both Maxey Law, as interning for the Eastern District Court under Judge Rice. Mason is thankful for both opportunities, largely because of the diversity of issues that were presented by each internship. Overall, Mason is thankful that his experiences have helped him become a more well-rounded attorney.

Mason Maxey specializes in family law representation and criminal defense, with a special focus on restorative and rehabilitative justice. Mason has been successful in requesting resentencing hearings under the new Senate Bill 6164 and advocating for a new sentence based on the rehabilitative efforts of the incarcerated individual. Mason Maxey has experience in cases related to alleged DUI representation to alleged felony sexual offense clients. In terms of Family Law, Mason represents those in need of a parenting plan, protection orders, dissolution cases, and is always willing to listen. Mason is effective in communicating with his clients and collaborative in deciding what the most approach moving forward is.

In his free time, Mason enjoys all types of sports, spending time with family, and preparing for the ski season.
